Animal Feed Machine
An animal feed machine is the core equipment for boosting feed output and quality. From single units to complete lines, RICHI provides one-stop turnkey service. We cover poultry, livestock, aquaculture, and pet feed. Capacity ranges from 1 to 100 t/h.

All Types of Animal Feed Machine
Conventional poultry and livestock rations differ greatly from high-end aqua feed and pet food. Each type has unique needs in ingredient ratios, gelatinization degree, and pellet forming processes.
Knowing these production traits and matching them with the right animal feed processing machine is key to ensuring final quality and staying competitive in the market.

Core Advantages of Animal Feed Machine
Animal Feed Production Process
Auxiliary Equipment for Animal Feed Production

Bucket Elevator
Uses buckets to scoop up powder and pellets and lift them vertically. Smooth conveying with little spillage or loss. A common way to move materials between production steps.

Powder Cleaning Screen
Sieves corn meal, soybean meal, and other powders. These materials often contain straw pieces, dirt, and other debris from harvest and transport. The screen uses mesh to remove large impurities, ensuring clean raw materials.

Hammer Mill
Grinds raw materials to the right fineness. Uniform grinding makes subsequent mixing and pelletizing smoother. It also helps poultry like chickens, ducks, and geese digest feed more easily.

Feed Mixer
Accepts ground grain powder, chopped grass, and various nutrient additives at the same time. Internal paddles mix everything thoroughly.

Pellet Cooler
As a companion to animal feed machines, the cooler cools and dehumidifies 80-90°C pellets to room temperature to ensure that the moisture reaches a safe storage level.

Belt Dryer Machine
Pellets spread evenly on a mesh belt. Hot air passes through to remove moisture. This machine is mainly used to reduce moisture and prevent mold in extruded aqua feed and pet food.

Grading Screen
Separates fines and oversized pellets. Acceptable pellets go to the finished product bin. Fines go back to pelletizing. Oversized pellets need re-crushing or re-grinding.

Packaging Scale
Packing accuracy ±0.1%. Can be paired with automatic bag sewing machines and palletizing robots for a fully automated line.

Pulse Dust Collector
Crushing and conveying powder creates a lot of dust. This unit uses compressed air to automatically clean filter bags and continuously collect dust. It improves workshop air quality and recovers feed powder that would otherwise be lost.

Buyer’s Guide & Support Center
Buying feed processing equipment is a major investment. So we’ve collected the core questions customers often ask. We hope these direct answers help you think clearly.
How do I choose the right animal feed machine?
→
Decide which animal feed you want to produce
Study your local feed market and identify your target customer group. For example, do you plan to make feed for poultry (chickens, ducks), livestock (pigs, cattle, sheep), aquatic animals, or pets? Different digestive systems require different pellet hardness, size, and gelatinization. This directly decides whether you need a ring die pellet mill or an extruder.
Know your raw material types
Understanding which raw materials are easily available to you is crucial. If your main ingredients are common grains like corn and soybean meal, standard machines will work. But if you need to process high-fiber materials like grass or straw, you’ll need custom equipment with forced feeding, multi-layer conditioning, and high wear resistance.
Estimate capacity needs and budget
Based on your farm size or expected sales, estimate your daily or hourly output target. We offer transparent and competitive animal feed machine price options to suit both small-scale farms and large commercial factories. Investing in a high-quality system is often more cost-effective in the long run than simply choosing the lowest feed making machine price. Also allocate your budget reasonably. Besides initial equipment investment, consider future energy costs, wear parts replacement, and maintenance.
Get professional advice for custom solutions
The final animal feed making machine price is determined by your required capacity, power consumption, and specific customization needs. If you’re unsure how to match equipment, just contact us. Can I buy just one pellet mill?
→
Of course. We fully support flexible purchasing strategies.
Many startups or individual farms start by buying just a pellet mill to use with their existing grinder or mixer. Last year, three Southeast Asian customers did exactly that. This approach lowers early financial pressure. It lets you start production quickly with minimal trial cost.
Seamless future upgrades
As your business grows, you can buy a cooler, screener, packaging scale, and other units from us to expand your line. Our machines are modular from the start. This ensures future additions work perfectly with your existing mill, avoiding waste from duplicate investment.
Plenty of success stories
Many of our overseas customers started with a single machine. After one or two years of steady growth, they upgraded to complete turnkey lines. No matter what stage you are at, RICHI will be your reliable long-term partner.
