Cleaning System
The first task after the raw materials arrive at the factory is to remove impurities. To ensure the purity and hygiene of the finished products and to prevent hard objects such as stones and iron nails from damaging the subsequent expensive crushing and granulation equipment, we will conduct strict physical screening and strong magnetic separation on the materials. Whether it is feed raw grains, wood chips and straw, or fermented organic fertilizers, they can all be properly cleaned at this stage.

Crushing & Pulverizing System
Transform raw materials into uniform fine powder for the pellet production line and facilitate granulation. For different materials, we match specific crushing schemes: wood and biomass need debarking or crushing first; livestock feed is crushed using conventional hammer blades; organic fertilizer undergoes specially designed disintegration and fiber crushing; for high-end pet food and aquatic feed, we use ultra-micro pulverizers to ensure micron-level fineness.

Pre-Drying System
When dealing with high-humidity raw materials such as wood, biomass (such as straw and sawdust) or fermented organic fertilizers, dehydration is an essential step. Through large-scale dehydration and turning-over with high-temperature air flow, we precisely control the moisture content of the materials to a golden ratio of 12% – 18%, effectively preventing slippage or poor shaping during pelletization. The moisture content of conventional livestock and pet raw materials is moderate, and this step is usually not necessary.

Batching & Mixing System
According to the exact recipe, thoroughly mix the finely ground raw materials to ensure that the materials do not separate and that the nutrients, fertilizer efficiency or calorific value of the particles are balanced. For livestock and pet feed that require the addition of trace core ingredients, through precise PLC batching, vitamins and minerals are thoroughly blended with bulk grain powder. While organic fertilizers and biomass raw materials do not require the addition of trace elements and can directly enter the mixer for thorough mixing.

Pelleting & Extrusion System
The granulation process in the pellet production line subjects loose materials to high-temperature conditioning or high-pressure extrusion to coalesce them into dense, uniform lengths. Materials are then cut into high-density, uniform-length particles using a cutting knife. Animal feed, biomass, and organic fertilizers are pressed into hard pellets using ring die granulators, while aquatic feed and pet food use extrusion presses.

Post-Drying & Cooling System
The freshly produced granules have a temperature of 80-90 degrees. If stored directly, they are prone to cracking or mold growth. Therefore, quickly lowering the temperature of the granules and removing excess moisture is crucial for ensuring the durability and ease of storage of the finished products. Biomass, organic fertilizers, and conventional feed directly enter the counter-flow cooler, where the temperature is reduced to about 3 degrees above room temperature. For pet food and aquatic feed with high moisture content, they need to be dried and dehydrated first, and then cooled.

Vacuum Coating & Post-Treatment
In order to enhance the palatability and grade of the finished products, the cooled and shaped particles will enter the post-processing stage. High-end pet food and aquatic feed undergo vacuum spraying through a vacuum spraying machine, which locks in a high proportion of oils, vitamins and flavoring agents inside the particles; while the starter feed is crushed into palatable small particles here by a grinding machine. Ordinary organic fertilizers and biomass products generally do not involve this process.

Sifting & Packaging System
Finally, in the pellet production line, finished particles are strictly separated by a grading sieve. Unqualified fragments and dust are sent back for reprocessing, and only pure, qualified particles enter the packaging line. Feed and pet food mostly adopt small bags to prevent moisture, while biomass and organic fertilizers widely support large-capacity packaging like ton bags.

Animal Feed Plant Project in Nigeria
The customer’s existing pellet production line had frequent crusher blockages and a serious capacity bottleneck. We dispatched engineers to the site as soon as possible. After investigation, it was confirmed that the root cause of the fault was the high moisture content of the raw corn, mismatched screen aperture and too small fan configuration.
We re-planned the process plan, equipped customers with a 22kW hammer crusher, a 1-ton mixer and an SZLH320 granulator, and optimized the transportation pipeline. This professional service model of “diagnosing the problem first, then providing solutions” has won high recognition and trust from customers.
Shrimp Feed Pellet Line in Ecuador
In aqua feed, pellet water stability and sinking/floating ratio are key to product quality. The customer had a problem with pellets disintegrating in water quickly. Our team studied their farming details: shrimp size, pond depth, and water exchange frequency.
Based on detailed data support, we customized a comprehensive solution of “twin-screw expansion + vacuum post-spraying” for it, and precisely calibrated the tempering temperature, screw speed and die hole aspect ratio. The resulting shrimp feed maintains excellent stability in the water and perfectly meets the actual farming needs of customers.
Wood Pellet Production Line in Iceland
The air humidity in Iceland is high, making it difficult to dry wood chips naturally. We innovatively added a forced air drying bin and an online moisture monitoring system to the standard process flow, and equipped the granulator with a dual forced feeding device. In addition, considering that the equipment needs to be deployed in coastal areas for a long time, we have carried out professional anti-salt spray and anti-corrosion treatment on the entire machine.
After two harsh winters, the pellet line still maintains a stable operation record of zero downtime.
Chicken Manure Organic Fertilizer Line in Australia
For this first cooperation with an Australian chicken farm, we took a practical approach. We suggested the customer first try a small-scale deodorizing fermentation tank to solve the smell problem. After that worked and trust was built, we started the full pelletizing line.
In order to maximize customers’ return on investment, we have streamlined the equipment configuration and only provide core equipment such as fermentation tanks, trommel screens, granulators and coolers, and canceled the automatic packaging module.
