What raw materials can your ring die feed pellet machine process?

If you use unusual raw materials (for example, high straw content or very high oil content), let us know. We’ll adjust the equipment configuration based on your formula to ensure good pellet quality.
Can the ring die diameter be adjusted? How long does a die last?

Pellet diameter changes by swapping ring dies. Range is 2–12 mm. Each die produces one diameter. Changing a die takes about 20–30 minutes. We suggest starting with one or two commonly used sizes. You can add more sizes later as you expand.
As for die life, there’s no fixed number. It depends on three things: your formula, daily runtime, and the die material and heat treatment. Our dies are alloy steel with deep carburizing and quenching. Most customers get 800 to 1,500 tons per die. One more thing—if your raw materials contain stones or metal fragments, die wear increases significantly. We recommend installing a magnet separator before the feed inlet. It’s a small investment that saves you die replacement costs.
