Organic Fertilizer Machine
RICHI provides organic fertilizer machine that process various organic wastes into high-quality fertilizers. We offer single machines and complete turnkey solutions. Our goal: help you turn organic waste into valuable resources.

Introduction to Organic Fertilizer Machine
Organic wastes from different sources vary greatly in fiber, moisture, and stickiness. No single pelletizing process works well for all of them. So we designed our equipment around material characteristics. From feeder type and die size to pre-treatment steps, we adjust each part to match your actual needs.

Core Advantages of RICHI Organic Fertilizer Machine
Organic Fertilizer Production Process
Auxiliary Equipment for Organic Fertilizer Production
The organic fertilizer machine is the core of granulation, but the auxiliary equipment is responsible for raw material pre-processing and finished product post-processing. The combination of the two can make the quality of fertilizer more stable.

Compost Turner
During fermentation, turn the material regularly. This adds oxygen, evens out moisture, and regulates temperature—speeding up decomposition.

Drum Cleaning Screen
Removes stones, metals, plastics, twine, and other impurities from organic waste. Protects downstream equipment.

Crusher
Reduces organic materials to the right fineness for pelletizing.

Double-Shaft Paddle Mixer
Mixes raw materials evenly according to the formula. Paddles also break up agglomerated material.

Rotary Dryer
Evaporates excess moisture from fresh, hot pellets. Improves pellet hardness and storage stability.

Counter-Flow Cooler
Quickly lowers finished pellet temperature. Prevents pellets from absorbing moisture and molding due to residual heat. Also removes surface moisture.

Screening Machine
Separates qualified organic fertilizer pellets. Oversized and undersized materials go back for reprocessing.

Packaging Machine
Weighs and bags finished organic fertilizer pellets according to set weight.

Conveying Machine
Transfers raw materials and connects each process step. Configurable in different lengths to fit your plant layout.

Buyer’s Guide & Support Center
We have compiled this concise guide to address common questions that customers have about equipment use and after-sales.
My raw materials are chicken manure and cow manure with high moisture. Can they go directly into your pelletizer?
→
No, not directly. Fresh manure typically has 60%–80% moisture. But the ideal moisture for pelletizing is 13%–18%.
So a complete organic fertilizer line must include pre-treatment: first reduce moisture through fermentation and turning, then pass through a dryer before pelletizing. We’ll design the most energy-efficient solution based on your material’s actual initial moisture.
Animal manure contains a lot of fiber—like bedding in horse manure or roughage in cow manure. Will the machine clog or wear out often?
→
Coarse fiber is indeed a challenge for many ordinary pelletizers. But RICHI has specific anti-clogging and wear-resistant designs for high-fiber materials.
We customize the ring die compression ratio and hole size based on your material. The pelletizer also includes a forced feeder to ensure uniform feeding of fibrous materials. For corrosive animal manure, our core parts use high-wear alloy steel and stainless steel—lasting more than twice as long as standard carbon steel.
Which is better for organic fertilizer machine: ring die or flat die pelletizer?
→
That depends on your production scale and business goals.
Flat die pelletizer: suitable for small farms under 1 t/h. Lower cost, but lower output and lower pellet density.
Ring die pelletizer: suitable for commercial plants at 1–10+ t/h. Advantages include high output, high automation, and a pelletizing rate above 95%. Pellets have high density and withstand long-distance transport—ideal for commercial fertilizer sales. RICHI’s FZLH series ring die pelletizers are built specifically for this commercial-grade need.
Our local environmental regulations are strict on odor and dust. How does your equipment address this?
→
Many customers in Europe, the Americas, and Southeast Asia ask this. RICHI provides fully enclosed production lines.
During fermentation and drying, we install efficient deodorizing systems. During grinding and pelletizing, the entire system connects to pulse dust collectors. Your plant will have minimal dust leakage and odor emissions that meet local standards.
I’ve never operated an organic fertilizer plant before. How can RICHI help?
→
We offer a turnkey solution. You don’t need to be a technical expert—we handle the rest.
After signing, we provide free plant layout design and process flow diagrams. Our experienced after-sales engineers have completed installations in over 140 countries, including Germany, the US, and South Africa. After equipment arrives, our engineers come to your site (or guide you remotely via HD video) to install, commission, and train your workers until they can operate and maintain the line independently.
What plant area and budget do I need for an organic fertilizer pellet line?
→
Plant area and budget depend entirely on your output and raw material condition.
For example, a 1–2 t/h basic line (including drying, pelletizing, cooling, and packaging) needs about 500–800 m² of space (approx. 5,300–8,600 sq. ft.). The total organic fertilizer machine price typically ranges from tens of thousands to over a hundred thousand USD, depending on the configuration.
Tell us your raw material type, initial moisture, and target output. Our engineers will send you a free custom quote and plant layout within 24 hours.
